Online Nomination of DirectorsScreenrights members will soon be receiving a letter asking them to nominate a candidate to stand for election as a Screenrights Director – with all nominations to be made online for the first time this year. In accordance with Screenrights’ Articles of Association, there will be four vacancies on Screenrights’ Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting to be held on 28 October 2010. The four directors who are retiring are eligible to stand for re-election. As part of Screenrights’ move towards electronic correspondence for AGM matters, nominations will be online only. Instructions for nominating, including a username and password for each member, are detailed in the letter. Voting will also be online, although members may specifically request a postal vote, provided this request is made in writing within five days of receipt of the letter. |
