2007/08 payments to commence in December

With Screenrights Member Services Team set to start distributing the $25.7 million declared available from 2007/08 collections, rightsholders should make sure all their title registrations are up to date.

First payments are expected to be made in December and will include royalties for educational copying and communication, retransmission, and – for the first time – government copying.

“Rightsholders can contact us at any time to make sure their most recent titles are registered and to check whether these registrations cover all services,” Screenrights’ Member Services Executive Emma Rogers said.

“Rightsholders who have a large number of titles can also talk to us about electronic registrations,” Emma said.
